BECOMING A DP MEMBER:

The Dwelling Place Church has much to offer you and your family and the New Members class is the best place to learn how you can jump in and get involved. Here is your chance to meet new people, and learn the story and vision behind The Dwelling Place Church.
The class is approximately an hour long and time will fly by as you enjoy a complimentary meal and childcare. And for those of you who have been around a while and are considering joining DP, this is your chance to make it official!
Want more information? Call us at: (951) 658-0717 or email Donna Olguin.

SMALL GROUPS:
Whether you are looking for a women's group, men's group, couple's study, prayer group or something else - there is a group for everyone! Call us for more information at (951) 658-0717, x221 or check our information center located in the foyer.

NURSERY:
The DP Nursery is a loving and peaceful environment designed to care for and nurture children birth through 2 years old.
We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child's name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have such as a favorite blanket. You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed. The DP Nursery is available during every adult worship service.
We have caring adults who are ready and willing to help with your children. If your young infant or toddler is fussy during the service, please enjoy the service in the foyer, or out front under the speakers, or see an usher for directions to our children's facilities.

KIDS CHURCH:
Your child, pre-school through fifth grade, can be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games, and loveable characters that teach Godly values at an age-appropriate level. Kids Church services meet at the same time as adult services; so while you are experiencing the creative, life-changing worship of The Dwelling Place Church, your children are experiencing it as well.

YOUTH MINISTRY:
The DP Church offers active Youth Ministries for two age groups: Jr Hi - 6th-8th grade and Sr Hi - 9th-12th grade; services coincide with our Adult services.
Our Jr Hi program is led by Ron & Tina Daniel, whose passion for tweens is demonstrated through creative worship and instruction. With five girls of their own, the Daniels understand the issues & pressures this age group faces. They are excited to encourage and uplift your student.
Our Sr Hi program is led by Jon & Kim Wigal, who have a creative and active way of leading our youth through this very important age in their lives. No matter the event, your Sr Hi student will find a welcoming place to grow in their relationship with God.

BAPTISMS:
At the Dwelling Place Church, we know people often have questions regarding baptism. Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized, do I have to do it again? Does it matter if you are sprinkled or dunked?
Answers to these commonly asked questions are found in the Bible. We believe it clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a Christ-follower to communicate to the world their heartfelt commitment to Christ.
Water baptism is a statement of faith: my old life is behind me - I am a new person, with a new life. It is a sign of repentance - repentance means change - a change so drastic that the old person is "buried." Water baptism is a way of giving testimony to what has happened inwardly, and a clear commitment to turn from the old life. Call the church office to get the date of the next scheduled baptism! BABY DEDICATIONS:
"Our ultimate goal shoud be to raise our children to be Christ-centered and others-focused."
Child/baby dedication is a memorable part of the service that offers you an opportunity as a parent to commit with other parents to raising Christ-centered children. It also gives you the opportunity to have Pastors Bob & Susan pray for God's blessings on your child and your family.
Dedication is a celebration that recognizes your child as a gift from God and makes public the church's commitment to your family and your family's commitment to the church. It is not a ceremony that brings salvation to your child or a substitue for believer's baptism.
If you would like to know when our next child/baby dedication will be, please call (951) 658-0717, x221 or email our church receptionist here.
