Pastor Alan was raised in Southern California having moved here from Pennsylvania when he was 4 years old. His father and mother were Assembly of God pastors for over 50 years. After retiring from a career in law enforcement, Pastor Alan owned and operated a successful Christian bookstore in Hemet. He came to The Dwelling Place Family Church in 1997 and became the Administrative Pastor in 2000. He was widowed in 1994 and was remarried to his wife, Pam, in 1999. He has 5 adult children and five grandchildren.
