KIDS NURSERY: The DP Kids Nursery is a loving and peaceful environment designed to care for and nurture children birth through 2 years old.

We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child's name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have such as a blanket or favorite toy. You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed. The DP Kids Nursery is available during every adult worship service.

We have caring adults who are ready and willing to help with your children. If your young infant or toddler is fussy during the service, please enjoy the service in the foyer, out front under the speqakers, or see an usher for directions to our children's facilities.

The Dwelling pLace Church has much to offer you and yoru family and the New Members class is the best place to learn how you can jump in and get involved. Here is yoru chance to meet new people, and learn the story and vision behind The Dwelling Place Church.

 

The class is approximately an hour long and time will fly by as you enjoy a complimentary meal and childcare. And for those o fyou who have been around a while and are considering joining D.P., this is your chance to make it official!

1KIDS CHURCH :Each weekend your child, kindergarten through fifth grade, can be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games, and loveable characters that teach Godly values at an age-appropriate level. Our weekend services meet at the same time as adult services, and are designed for all children from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. So while you are experiencing the creative, life-changing worship of The Dwelling Place Church, your children are experiencing it as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1BAPTISMS:

At the Dwelling Place Church, we know people often have questions regarding baptism.

Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized, do I have to do it again? Does it matter if you are sprinkled or dunked?

Answers to these commonly asked questions are found in the Bible. We believe it clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a Christ-follower to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ.

Water baptism is a statement of faith: my old life is behind me - I am a new person, with a new life. It is a sign of repentance - repentance means change - a change so drastic that the old person is "buried." Water baptism is a way of giving testimony to what has happened inwardly, and a clear commitment to turn from the old life. Call the church office to get the date of the next scheduled Baptism! 1BABY DEDICATIONS :

"Our ultimate goal shoud be to raise our children to be Christ-centered and others-focused."

Child/baby dedication is a memorable part of the service that offers you an opporutnity as a parent to commit with others parents to raising Christ-centered children. It also give you the opportunity to have Pastors' Bob & Susan pray for God's blessings on your child and your family.

Dedication is a celebration that recognizes your child as a gift from God and makes public the church's commitment to your family and your family's commitment to the church. It is not a ceremony that brings salvation to your child or a substitue for believers baptism.

1JR.HIGH YOUTH MINISTRY:

Our Jr.High ministry leaders, Jon & Kim Wigal, have a creative and active way of leading our Junior-Highers thorugh this very important age in their lives. Whether it is a 'girls only' outing, an event, or the Sunday and Wednesday servcies, your Junior-Higher will find a welcoming place to grow in their relationship with God. 1SR.HIGH YOUTH MINISTRY: Our Sr. High youth is a vibrant and growing ministry. Whether it is a concert, a Bible study or just hanging out, your Sr.Higher will fit in with what God is doing!
